A Capita Selecta is a course that you can enroll in on an individual basis, in consultation with a staff member (lecturer, professor).
It could consist of a literature survey, a programming experiment, etc. In short: a project. As a student, you have to find a subject yourself, as well as a staff member who would like to supervise your project.

The course exists only in a 7,5 ECTS version.

Please note: a master program may contain a maximum of 1 Capita Selecta project per student. Furthermore, the approval of the graduate student adviser is required.

The staff member supervising the project must fill out a form to register the project with the student administration at the start of the project. On the form, the number of ECTS is indicated, as well as the tasks for the student and other relevant data about the project. The form is available on the website (in Word).
