This is course is part of the PPE-minor.
Priority rules apply to this course. Make sure you register for this course before June 17, 12.00 noon​ to be considered for enrollment.
Students that choose to take the the minor PPE (and that have registered) get priority access. Also TCS or LAS students who take this course as part of their specialization are guaranteed a place.
A substantial amount of places per course is reserved for foreign and external students.
Other students will be placed through random selection.
In this course, the UU PPE perspectives will be used to reflect on and analyze a concrete societal topic or challenge (TBA). During this course, students will become acquainted with the methodology used in various disciplines that are part of the PPE community. Students will acquire basic knowledge of the quantitative, qualitative and argumentative methods used in the PPE disciplines and to combine these insights in the generation of an interdisciplinary conclusion.

Early Exit option for international exchange students (5 ECTS)
Exchange students who are required to return to their home university before January, are allowed to choose an Early Exit option for this course. The Early Exit option means that students can finish the course before Christmas break, receiving 5 ECTS for the course. Students must make arrangements with the course coordinator at the start of the course.
